Summary: A performance poetry workshop offering creative and engaging ways to express feelings, develop literacy and language skills, and build confidence. Our experienced facilitators guide participants through the process of writing and performing their own original poems in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Outcomes: Participants will write original poems, record their chosen piece in the form of a Podcast. It will be accessible on our website, on social media, and on platforms where you can access podcasts.

Recording My World

Summary: Engage you students with our bespoke film-making course. Inspire participants to develop transferable skills as they create their own short films. Sessions combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, allowing participants to actively apply what they've learned.
Outcomes: The conclusion of the course is a screening of their film which is exhibited on our website and on social media and advertised in the local press where the artists can share it with their peers, friends, and family.

Stories Through Stills

Summary: A bespoke photography course designed to allow participants to share their experiences, express their feelings, and tell their stories through the medium of taking photos. The participants will learn, develop and apply a wide range of soft skills (communication, teamwork etc.) and a range of hard skills (using a camera, picture editing and so on) to communicate their individuality through photos.
Outcomes: A selection of their photos will be exhibited on our website and on social media where they can share it with their peers, friends, and family.

Movie Matters

Summary: A programme designed to give participants the opportunities to have their voices heard. Using film and television shows as a vehicle, this practical programme allows them to explore ideas and tackle themes related to their lived experiences and provide for them a window into the wider world.
Outcomes: The programme concludes with the participant creating and exhibiting a short production relating to the themes they explored.
